Directions
Making the Syrup: Combine all the ingredients inside a pan, bring to a gentle boil, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, take off the stove allowing it to cool down completely. Pour into a sealable bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, it will last for around one month.
For the Premix: Pour all the liquid ingredients into one large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then pass it through , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml from the cocktail base to a stirring glass filled with ice, and stir carefully for a minute to chill. Pour into a chilled martini glass or equivalent, top with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the drink.
